Bailey Jones came into this world as a son, a grandson, a great-grandson, a nephew, a cousin, a best friend and a light that would shape the lives of everyone around him.

A passion for rugby league
From the age of five, Bailey found joy, discipline and friendship through rugby league — a passion he carried all the way into adulthood.
St Georges Basin Rugby League
Bailey’s love for rugby league grew through his time with St Georges Basin, where local football brought friendship, belonging and many lasting memories. The club and the people he played alongside became an important part of his life.
Family, work and dreams
Bailey grew into a respectful, funny and loving young man. He worked in the family seafood business, was completing his apprenticeship as a welder, loved family holidays, and dreamed of building a future.
Milton Ulladulla Bulldogs
Bailey proudly played for the Milton Ulladulla Bulldogs, continuing the sport that had been part of his life since childhood.
His Last Birthday Celebration
Bailey celebrated his 18th birthday surrounded by family and friends. It was the best night at his party, and the highlight of the evening was the speech he gave — a moment that will be remembered forever.
A future stolen
At just 18 years old, Bailey’s life was taken. He had been speaking about his future only days before — finishing his apprenticeship, investing, marriage, family, and becoming a young dad.
